Letting conditions

  1. The contract between the holidaymaker and the owners shall be entered into when the owner issues written confirmation of the booking.
  2. The booking shall be accompanied by a deposit of 1/3 of the rent. The balance of 2/3 becomes payable six weeks before commencement of the holiday. If the holidaymaker cancels the booking, the owners will endeavour to re-let the property and if successful will return any monies paid. If the owners are not successful in re-letting they shall not be under any obligation to repay any monies paid. It is recommended that holiday cancellation insurance is taken out as sometimes unavoidable circumstances necessitate cancellation or curtailment.
  3. The maximum number of persons using the property shall not exceed 6 unless otherwise agreed with the owners.
  4. The holidaymaker is responsible for the property together with all furniture and equipment which must be left in the same condition as it was at the commencement of the holiday.
  5. The owners or their representatives shall at reasonable times be permitted to enter the property and to carry out any repair that might be necessary.
  6. In the unlikely event that the property were to become unavailable the owners obligation and liability would be limited to refunding in full all monies paid by the holidaymaker.
  7. The owners shall not be under any liability to the holidaymaker or third parties for any accident or loss or damage however arising.
  8. Dogs by arrangement. Dogs are welcome provided that they are not allowed in the bedrooms or bedroom passage, nor are they permitted to sit on the chairs. They may not be left alone in the cottage.
  9. The holidaymaker agrees to leave the premises in the same clean and tidy state in which it was found.
  10. Lettings to commence on Saturday at 3pm and to end on a Saturday at 10am. Arrangements will be made for the collection and deposit of the keys.
